In local cinemas, the variety of methods that ‘The Boat That Rocked’ has used to advertise their film is A3 posters, Cardboard posters with the characters cut out. Since the film is for people aged for 15 and over and another way working title could of advertise their film is by putting posters into popular magazines for that particular age group. They could have soundtracks that could promote the film or they could attract the audience with competitions. In addition, just like for most other films, they had a trailer which enables the audience to have a taste of the film knowing the basic information about the film such as the date of it when it’s going to be distributed, Ideas about the film, who is in the film and what type of film it is. In order for the profits to be increased, working title should employ a famous actor or actress.
